Q1 2026 — January to March

Reporting – Most Recent Survey Filter in Statistics and Effect Size Reports

New Feature · Admins, Clinicians

The ‘Most Recent Survey’ filter is now available in the My Statistics and Effect Size reports, consistent with its availability in the Statistics report. Clinicians and supervisors can now focus analysis on the most recent session or review period across all three report types.

App – Filter Cases by Status

New Feature · Clinicians

Cases on the OpenFIT tablet and mobile app can now be filtered by status. This makes it easier for clinicians to view active, completed, or otherwise-filtered cases without scrolling through a full caseload list.

Search – Clients Searchable by Preferred Name

New Feature · Clinicians, Admins

The client search now returns results based on preferred names in addition to legal names. This is particularly relevant for clients who use a different name in their care context, reducing the time taken to locate the right client record.

Reporting – Subscores Included in Export by Session

New Feature · Admins, Clinicians

ORS and SRS subscores — such as Individual, Interpersonal, Social, and Overall components — are now included in the Export by Session file. This enables more detailed analysis in external tools without requiring a separate data extraction process.

API – Interactive API Documentation

New Feature · API / Integration

The OpenFIT API now has an interactive documentation portal powered by Scalar. Integration teams and developers can browse all available endpoints, view request and response schemas, and test calls directly from the browser without needing additional tooling.

Surveys – Country Code Shown When Sharing by SMS

Improvement · Clinicians

When sharing a survey by SMS, OpenFIT now displays the country calling code alongside the mobile number field. This reduces input errors when sharing across different country codes and makes the expected number format explicit for clinicians.

Print – Improved Print Function for Sessions and Feedback

Improvement · Clinicians

The print output for sessions and feedback data has been rebuilt. It now uses a dedicated print preview modal that produces a cleaner, better-formatted hard copy, suitable for use in supervision sessions or clinical case files.

Performance – Faster Report Filter Response

Improvement · Admins, Clinicians

Report loading times when changing client, case, or tag filters have been significantly reduced. Reports that previously took around seven seconds to refresh now update substantially faster, making iterative filtering practical during supervision or administrative reviews.

Scoring – SPI Enhanced for Client Age and Episode Date

Improvement · Clinicians

The Success Probability Index (SPI) is now suppressed for clients who were 18 years old at the time their episode was created, as the SPI model is not calibrated for adult cases in this age band. The SPI calculation also now takes the episode start date into account. These changes improve clinical accuracy for organisations with mixed-age caseloads.

Data Management – Bulk Import Supports Cases, Clients, and Tags

Improvement · Admins

The batch import CSV has been extended to support case and client record imports (in addition to session data) and now includes columns for client tags and episode tags. This makes it substantially easier to migrate or update structured data in bulk without manual entry.

Localisation – Finnish Language Improvements

Improvement · All Users

A number of Finnish translation corrections have been applied across the application. Terminology now more accurately reflects the clinical language in use by Finnish partner agencies, addressing inconsistencies reported by Finnish-language users.

Usability – Consistent Number Formatting (1 Decimal Place)

Improvement · All Users

Number input fields and displayed values across OpenFIT now consistently use one decimal place. This replaces a previous mix of zero and two decimal places that caused inconsistencies in how scores and values were entered and displayed.

Administration – Extended Session Timeout Option (Up to 600 Minutes)

Improvement · Admins

A 600-minute session timeout option has been added to accommodate organisations that require an all-day session duration. This is configurable via the Timeout Period setting in Administration.

API – External Key Displayed for Collateral Raters

Improvement · Admins, API / Integration

The external key for a collateral rater is now visible in the OpenFIT user interface. This makes it easier for administrators and integration teams to cross-reference collateral rater records against identifiers in external systems.

Bug Fix – ETR Alignment for Collateral Rater First Session

Bug Fix · Clinicians

We fixed an issue where the Expected Treatment Response (ETR) line was not correctly aligned when the first ORS score was recorded by a collateral rater rather than the client directly. ETR now reflects the correct baseline for collateral rater scoring.

Bug Fix – Browser Autocomplete Disabled on Input Fields

Bug Fix · All Users

Browser autocomplete has been disabled across free-text and date input fields in OpenFIT. This prevents browsers from pre-filling clinical data fields with historic suggestions, which was a source of data entry errors particularly on shared devices.
