Q2 2023 — April to June

SSO – QR Code Login for Federated Identity Providers

New Feature · Admins

Users can now scan a QR code to initiate login via a federated identity provider (such as Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD). This simplifies sign-in on shared devices or kiosk tablets where typing a full organisation domain is impractical.

Q3 2023 — July to September

Reporting – User Statistics Report Now Visible to Supervisors

New Feature · Admins, Clinicians

The User Statistics Report is now accessible to Supervisor-level users, not just administrators. This allows team leads to monitor their direct reports’ survey activity without needing full administrator access.

Reporting – Survey Creation Date Filter

New Feature · Admins

A filter by survey creation date has been added to the User Statistics Report, allowing supervisors and administrators to focus on surveys entered within a specific date range.

Templates – Email Subject Field for Survey Templates

New Feature · Clinicians, Admins

Survey email templates now include a Subject field. Clinicians and administrators can customise the email subject line to reflect the survey type, agency name, or other relevant context — improving recognition and open rates for survey invite emails.

Templates – Message Preview on Hover

Improvement · Clinicians, Admins

Hovering over a template name now shows a preview of the full message text. This makes it easier to choose the right template without having to open it, saving time during busy clinical sessions.

Reporting – Effect Size Report Heading Updates

Improvement · Admins, Clinicians

The headings in the Effect Size Report have been updated for consistency and to better reflect the calculations presented. The changes improve readability for supervisors and align the report labels with the accompanying documentation.

Reporting – Standardised User Statistics Report Parameters

Improvement · Admins

The filter and parameter layout of the User Statistics Report has been updated to match the layout used across other OpenFIT reports. This provides a more consistent experience when navigating between different report types.

Navigation – Individual Cases Navigate to Client Chart After Survey

Improvement · Clinicians

After completing a survey for an individual case, OpenFIT now navigates to the Client Chart rather than the Combined Chart. This matches expected behaviour for individual case workflows and removes an unnecessary extra navigation step.

Messaging – Shorter SMS Survey Invitation Links

Improvement · All Users

The survey link included in SMS invitations has been shortened, reducing character count, lowering per-message costs, and improving readability for clients receiving the invitation on a small screen.

Usability – Phone Number Placeholder Text Removed

Improvement · All Users

Format guide placeholder text (such as “+353 xx xxxxxxx”) has been removed from phone number input fields. The placeholder was a frequent source of confusion about whether a number had already been entered.

Bug Fix – Number Formatting for US Locale

Bug Fix · All Users

Fixed a display issue where scores were shown using a comma as the decimal separator (e.g. 7,5 instead of 7.5) for users with US locale settings applied. Scores now display correctly regardless of locale.

Bug Fix – Latest Scores Always Displayed

Bug Fix · Clinicians

A hotfix addressed an issue where the most recently entered ORS or SRS scores were not always shown after navigating between screens. Score display now reliably reflects the latest recorded data on every page load.
