Setting up Department Tags

Apart from Tags that are applied to Clients or Cases there is another type of Tag called Department Tags.


These are applied specifically to users. 


Administrators can setup Department Tags in the Location Admin section of OpenFIT. Similar to Tags Departments can be configured for each Location.



One of the common use Cases for using Department Tags is for filtering Reports based on them.

**Note Investigating new Feature: Parent and Child Locations

Whilst some agencies have used Department Tags to represent Sub-Teams/Groups within locations we are investigating making Locations hierarchical. That is that a Location can be a parent of another one. With this setup we can offer greater flexibility for Administrators to setup Teams more closely mirroring their organisation chart with the accompanying data segregation at the Parent Location/Child Location
